Resources for Caregivers

Caregivers of those suffering from advancing Alzheimer's or other debilitating diseases often work a "36 Hour Day" and feel constant stress. Without relief, they themselves often suffer from emotional or physical symptoms. Depression among isolated caregivers is very common. Seeking help, whether it is a one-hour support group meeting, a home health aide two days a week for three hours, three days a week for your loved one in the Day Club at The Country Home, or a four day "short-stay" for your loved one at The Country Home-- getting a "respite" yourself is critical to your physical and mental health and your ability to continue caring for your loved one. Many of these resources will lead you to the knowledge you need, and the relief you deserve.
